Soccer Passing Drills With Three Soccer Balls

Here's a fun soccer passing drill I'd like to share with you:

  • Soccer Passing Exercise With Three Soccer Balls

In this soccer drill diagram is required three soccer balls and two teams with equal number.

STEP 1: The coach says, “Go”, and all the players have to try to steal as many balls as possible.

STEP 2: When the coach says, “STOP”, the game gets a pause and the team with the possession of two or three balls wins.

This is a simple exercise, but if you want to achieve higher passing performances this process must be repeated several times.

Since there are three balls and two teams, in order to keep possession of two or more balls is not an easy task for any team. I'm sure the winning team have players with better passing skills.

This game teaches various aspects associated with passing of the ball, such as:

  1. Players are able to decide their position when they do not have the ball.
  2. They learn to make instant decisions regarding passing and dribbling (and which player of the team they want to pass the ball.)

Soccer is all about free soccer training drills, practice, practice, and practice! Whichever method you use to practice soccer passing drills, make sure you do it several times in order to sharpen these specific skills.

Soccer Passing Drills - How To Pass A Soccer Ball

Passing in soccer is crucial to keeping possession of the ball during a game. While any kick that ends with the ball in the possession of a team-mate is passing, there are proper techniques to use to pass effectively and accurately. Short passes are most effectively executed by using the inside of the foot because of the large surface available for accurately aiming the ball.

If you are passing long, then the instep is the most effective kick to use. If you need to pass behind, your heel is the used. When performing soccer passing drills, don't ever forget that passing involves communication between the passer and the receiver.
